This is our annual Morel foray in association with the Linn County Naturalists. This foray is specifically designed for those that have never found a morel before, however, more experienced hunters are still encouraged to attend. We will have a brief meeting before the foray to show everybody what we are looking for. Most years we are able to find some morels but we could be too early or too late. It all depends on the weather.

Directions: The Wickiup Learning Center is about 7 miles northwest of Cedar Rapids. From I380, exit at Blairs Ferry Rd and go 4.8 miles west and north to Feather Ridge Rd. Turn right and go 1 mile north to Morris Hills Rd. Turn left and go 1.1 miles west to the park entrance. Turn right to enter the park. We will meet outside the Learning Center before entering the woods.
